This is a post about an assignment where I had to write a graduation speech
I remember the times how I used to dread about going to school and feeling so bored about studying, thinking that five years is too long a time, but looking from where I am standing now, the first day of school seems to happen only yesterday.
Time really flies when one is not noticing, the fun and scary times we had in the school. Last minute studying at the nearby mcdonald’s till the wee hours, although we did study but the time we spend on doing work is simply a quarter of the time we spend talking and disturbing each other. And also not to mention, getting into troubles and facing the punishments together.
I know that I may not be the best student or even a good student, but I know that my friends will always be with me and steer me towards the right path. As I am an only child therefore I tends to always get what I wanted and will get angry if I don’t, a spoilt kid I realize but my friends changed me. We were not always so good and close, we used to fight and quarrel but we grow up in this school together through thick and thin.
We were always being punished by the teachers together for fighting, vandalism and smoking. And each time the teachers give us chances one after another, they never did give up on us not even once, despite the incalculable amount of times we have disappoint them. Thanks to my teachers that on this very day I am able to graduate and make this speech.
Lastly, I would like to emphasise that secondary school time is not as long as you thought it would be, cherish the time you still have with your classmates and friends before its too late. As the saying goes, time and tide waits for no man.
